What Does Thai Massage Feel Like?

Thai Massage is more energizing and rigorous than more classic forms of massage. In Thai Yoga Massage the therapist uses his or her hands, knees, legs and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like stretches. Many people say Thai Massage is like doing yoga without any work. There is constant body contact between the therapist and client. Muscle compression (palming and thumbing techniques), joint mobilization and acupressure (deep static and rhythmic pressures) are also used during treatment. The client’s body is compressed, pulled, stretched and rocked. This may include pulling finger, toes, ears, cracking knuckles and moving the recipient’s body into many different positions.
People describe Thai Massage as both relaxing and energizing.
