The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario regulate education and examination of massage therapists.
Cherie Marshall graduated from Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in 2004, which requires 2200 hours of training in the areas of anatomy, physiology, pathology, hydrotherapy and remedial exercise.
She also holds a degree in Kinesiology from York University.
